radeeo.com
The control room for independent radio.
Radeeo runs your station: presenter consoles, producer playout, the Airlock safety system, and one feed that reaches DAB+ digital radio, Mixcloud, YouTube and your own website player. All in a single installation that your station owns.
Built for small-scale DAB, community and internet stations.
From the presenter's desk to everywhere
One pipeline carries every show. Presenters go live from home, the station mixes and protects the sound, and the same clean feed reaches digital radio and the big platforms at the same time.
Every presenter gets a private streaming link that works with OBS and other free apps. It is live only for their slot.
Shows fade in and out on schedule, with producer playout, jingles and filler in between. No clicks, no gaps.
A sealed buffer between the studio and the outside world gives you time to react.
One press and the last few seconds never went out. Emergency music takes over instantly.
DAB+, Mixcloud, YouTube, Facebook and your website player, all from the same feed.
Presenters go live, safely
Each presenter logs into a console built for the two hours that matter. No shared passwords, no wondering who is plugged into the encoder, and no going live before they are certified.
Go live from anywhere
Stream from a laptop using OBS or any similar free app. Your link is yours alone. It fades onto air at the top of your slot and off at the end.
Count-in and count-out
The console counts you into your show and out of it, so handovers between presenters land cleanly on air.
Certified before broadcast
Built-in training gates the ability to go live. No completed certificate, no live link. Enforced automatically.
Live chat in the console
Listener messages land right in the console while you present. Pipe in your website chat, Discord or SMS service.
Playlist submission
Type in or import a spreadsheet of what you played: artist, title, label, length and the royalty (MCPS) number. Minutes, not evenings.
Show graphics and content
Upload artwork and content for each show, ready for your socials and the station's public pages.
Producers run the desk
Producers keep the station sounding like a station: playout between shows, jingles, pre-recorded mixes, and a hand on the controls when it's needed.
Station music library
Music, mixes and jingles in one place. Radeeo reads the track details and checks the loudness automatically on upload.
Published playlists
Producers build playlists and publish them to the whole station. Every presenter can use them. The public never sees them.
Take the desk
Put any source on air, change where the sound goes, and hand back to the schedule when you're done. Every change is logged.
Meet the Airlock
Between what the studio does and what the listeners hear sits the Airlock: a broadcast delay, a panic button and automatic dropout protection. If something unairable happens, it never went out. If a presenter's connection dies, the station recovers by itself.
Press it. Try it.
From the moment of pressing, the station's emergency playlist takes over. The last seconds of buffered audio are thrown away before any listener hears them, and cover holds until the post-timer runs out. Then live returns with a smooth fade.
- Panic-pre
- How many seconds of buffered audio to throw away. It can never be longer than the delay itself.
- Panic playlist
- A producer-curated emergency set that takes air instantly.
- Panic-post
- How long to hold cover after release. Sensibly capped, always logged.
Dropouts never reach air
The Airlock watches every presenter feed. The moment a stream drops or falls silent, the takeover playlist is on air. No dead air, and nobody scrambling for the desk.
Smart hand-back
When the stream returns it must stay healthy for a set time before it retakes air. A shaky connection has to wait longer each time it fails, so it can never flap on and off air.
One show, everywhere
You broadcast once. Radeeo delivers it to digital radio, the platforms your listeners already use, and your own website, all at the same time.
Mixcloud, YouTube and friends
Send the show to Mixcloud, YouTube, Facebook Live, Instagram and TikTok from the same feed. Add or remove destinations without touching the studio.
On digital radio
Radeeo produces exactly the feed a DAB+ multiplex operator needs, so getting on digital radio is a form to fill in, not an engineering project.
Your own player
A rock-solid stream for the player on your website and for the radio directories (Icecast, MP3 and AAC).
Every show, recorded
Shows are recorded automatically for listen-again and compliance, ready if the regulator ever asks.
How does it work?
A Saturday evening on a small-scale DAB station, start to finish.
They press Start in OBS, a free streaming app, using their private Radeeo link. The console counts them in and fades their show onto air exactly on the hour.
Their audio runs through the station's mixer and the Airlock delay. Listener messages appear in their console, and a producer can take the desk at any moment.
The Airlock notices instantly and puts the takeover playlist on air. When their connection returns and stays steady, the show fades back in. Listeners hear music, not silence.
The same protected feed drives the website player, Mixcloud, YouTube and the DAB+ signal for the multiplex. If your carriage is with an operator like Maxxwave, Radeeo produces exactly the feed their platform expects. Hand over your service details and you're on the multiplex.
The playlist log is filed against the show with its royalty numbers, the recording is archived for listen-again, and the next presenter has been counted in.
Run it like a licensed broadcaster
Because for many of you, it is one. Radeeo keeps the paper trail that keeps the licence.
Owns station settings and invites everyone else: producers, presenters, legal holders, and time-boxed guest accounts for visits like Radiocentre audits.
Playout, playlists, the music library, desk overrides and the emergency playlist set.
Their own console, slots, playlist submissions and biography on the station's public page.
The legally responsible people get certification registers, playlist logs with royalty numbers, and exports ready for PRS for Music and PPL.
Pay for what plugs in and what goes out
An input is a live source coming into the station at one time; presenters take turns, so twenty presenters broadcasting one after another is still one input. An output is a destination, such as your website player, DAB+ or Mixcloud. That's the whole pricing model. More detail in the FAQ.
£10per concurrent input or output, per month
- 30-day free trial with 5 inputs and 5 outputs
- Any number of presenters. They take turns on the same input, and handovers never count double.
- Show recording for compliance is always free. It never counts as an output.
- Every safety feature included. The Airlock never costs extra.
- Your installation activates its licence by logging in online. No card needed for the trial.
POApriced on application
- Multi-site and multi-station networks
- High input and output counts
- White-label licensing for multiplex operators and networks
- Priority support and managed hosting options
Yours to run. Or yours to sell.
One installation per station
Every station runs its own self-contained copy of Radeeo, on your hardware or ours. There is no shared platform holding your output, your logs or your listeners.
That design is deliberate. Private licences and full white-label deals are the same product, not a special build, so multiplex operators and networks can run Radeeo under their own brand.
Built by engineers who keep networks up
Radeeo is built by experienced software engineers with networking and distributed-systems backgrounds, people who have spent their careers keeping critical infrastructure online. It is engineered for the reliability radio demands: a small, dependable installation that stays on air.
